Origin Story

Hi, I’m Nathan — a strategist, builder, and relentless problem-solver.

I started in the corporate world, recruited into a 6-month elite leadership program at a Fortune 40 company — designed to train the next generation of operational architects.

A few years later, I was co-leading a $200M business transformation initiative alongside an executive partner from Ernst & Young — reengineering the core of a $2B/year business unit.

Over the past 7.5 years in high-level consultancy, I’ve delivered 50+ complex, cross-industry projects — often in industries I had no prior experience in.

Most recently, I rebuilt internal operations from the ground up for a $100M/year company.

In parallel, I scaled a fitness brand from 2,000 to 750,000 followers — leading landing page architecture, program design, and the full customer journey execution.

That’s what I bring to every founder I work with:

Structure and creativity. Clarity and momentum. Systems that scale.

When you deeply understand people, process, and technology — you can solve almost anything.

The Deeper Why

At 17, I was diagnosed with a rare spinal cord disease and told to never play sports again — that even minor whiplash could leave me paralyzed.

The condition disrupted nerve signals to my hands and lower arms, leading to muscle loss and weakened motor control.
I lost my senior baseball season — and with it, the identity I’d built as an athlete.

So I adapted the best I could.
I sharpened my mind, built resilience, and learned to think from first principles.

Years later, I reintroduced the physical. Slowly. Deliberately.
And a decade later, I earned my blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at a world-class academy — not because I had something to prove to others, but because I had something to prove to myself.

Then, everything changed again in 2024 — when my wife and I lost our firstborn daughter just seven days after her birth.

That shattered everything.

But it also gave us clarity:
Time is the most valuable asset we have.
And the work we do should reflect that.

Founder’s Mission

I started Left Brain Consulting to distill what I’ve learned from Fortune 500s — and apply only the parts that serve small businesses ready to scale sustainably.

To turn 100 small businesses into 100 durable, clear-headed, systems-driven ones.

To help Founders make better decisions, faster.

To do work that actually matters.

This work is grounded in structure, strategy, and empathy.

I don’t deal in theory. I bring real-world execution, sharp frameworks, and nearly a decade of hard-earned insight.

Whether you’re early-stage or post-scale —
if you’re serious about building something real, I’m here for it.

Let’s make our time together count.
